FLOORPLAN
DESCRIPTION

This is a BRAND NEW model 35RE triple slide fifth wheel travel trailer with a wonderful rear living floorplan! It's engineered to the highest standards with superior workmanship and materials including a 10” I-Beam "Z" frame with an all aluminum cage frame with an Owens Corning Performance Plus gelcoat fiberglass exterior w/ unique front cap.

While I can't mention the manufacturer along with our low prices on eBay due to our franchise agreement, I would like to tell you a bit about the manufacturer and construction of this particular line.

The manufacturer is #1 in towables in the country and is owned by one of the wealthiest and most successful businessman in the world. Some may not know, but there are a few different construction techniques for fiberglass sided RVs. There are two types of laminating techniques, pinch roll lamination and vacuum bonded lamination as well as our superior "hung glass" method.

Pinch roll lamination uses aluminum parameter frames. In other words, a piece of aluminum forms the exterior shape of the RV and an aluminum strut is placed approximately every 3–4'! Polystyrene foam is placed in between the frame, the interior wallboard and exterior material is attached, then pinch rolled with an adhesive. The next level is vacuum bonded lamination. This is similar to the Pinch roll process except on a larger scale. The welded frame is approximately 24-26" on center. Polystyrene foam is placed inside the framework. the interior wallboard and exterior material is attached. The whole sidewall is placed into a vacuum bond machine. Compression is applied, creating a one-piece single wall. Once again, the strength comes from the lamination, not the frame!

Our manufacturer does NOT depend on lamination for its strength, they depend on the frame for strength. Our frame is 2 x 2 on 16" centers or less. The roof is bolted to the side wall, the sidewall is bolted to the floor, the floor is bolted to the outriggers. This aluminum frame is designed to bend and flex. A welded frame can't flex along with a cambered steel frame. Residential style Eco-Batt Glasswool insulation is glued in between the frame, expanding the insulation to its fullest capacity. This is as much insulation as you can place a 2 inch wall without compressing it. The interior wall board and exterior true gelcoat are attached with a marine grade Silaprene. It has a very strong tinsel strength and can't separate from the aluminum frame unless pulled upon with almost 500 pounds of pressure! The adhesive cures fast unlike vacuum bonding and is used everywhere on the coach. A single sheet of gelcoat is brought up by an overhead lift, Silaprene is applied to every stud, the gelcoat is then brought up to the frame and screwed around the perimeter. Large clamps are then applied to the sidewall, compressing the sidewall into the adhesive while it cures.

What does all this mean? There cannot be lamination problems because the sidewalls are not laminated. Outlets are in normal areas because the wall was not designed to be in one piece. Laminated units generally have outlets under the cabinets or elsewhere because you cannot run wires through a one piece wall. If a repair is ever necessary, it's as simple as pulling the inside paneling, fixing any problem and replacing the paneling. That can't be done with a laminated structure. The frame is designed to move and flex with the coach. Competitors welded frames are only welded because they don't want the wall to flex and compromise the one piece lamination bond. Our technique relies on the frame for its strength, not lamination!

Our manufacturer also uses a “cold room” to test their coaches. Tank heaters are used along with two layers of insulation and a layer of radiant shield insulation to keep the tanks from freezing. Tests have proven that this is a better method than blown air heat. With our method, a unit placed in a “cold room” at 0° with an interior temperature of 70° resulted in an average tank temperature of 43.7° after 10 hours. Other units tested at the same time with blown air and 2 layers of insulation had an average tank temperature of 35.42°, the fresh and black tanks were below freezing! Something to think about in the cold weather!

Now, beyond the construction, on the outside you will find gelcoat fiberglass with tasteful graphics, a specially designed front cap that allows for a 90°+ turning radius, an adjustable pitch power awning, aluminum wheels, dark tint safety glass, three slide out rooms, power front jacks, rear roof ladder, outdoor marine grade speakers, a very spacious pass-thru basement compartment, front cargo compartment, spare tire, docking station including an outside sprayer, slide room selector controls, water filter, battery disconnect and more.

When you walk inside you will notice the unique cathedral ceiling slide rooms which not only look great but add height and space! The cherry finish woodwork, pendant lighting and open floor plan only add to the beauty and functionality of this fifth wheel. You will truly feel at home in you new RV!

The mid-kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and includes a wonderful L-shaped island with Corian countertops and sink covers, a very functional Hoosier style cabinet with appliance garage, pull out counter and plenty of drawers and cabinets. In fact, the entire kitchen is loaded with storage! You will have all the conveniences of home including a large two door refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, Fantastic Fan ventilator and hardwood table with 4 chairs (storage under seat).

In the rear living area you will find two La-Z-Boy recliners, a sofa sleeper with air mattress and integral air compressor along with a storage drawer under, beautiful rear entertainment center featuring a 32" LCD TV, stereo system including DVD video, five interior speakers, electric fireplace with heat, a desk/work area and once again, plenty of storage!
